It’s been a couple weeks since my last weekly rundown. Yea, it’s been crazy. As I get back into the swing of things there’s a few things covered in the video above that I wanted you to be aware of.

Taking a Freelance Sabbatical

I’ve always wanted to go on sabbatical. I never really knew what it meant. In all honesty, I’m still not 100% sure, but I’m taking one anyways.

I’ll be wrapping up some major client projects and once those are done I will be unavailable for design and consulting work for a little while. The reason is to focus on you, my readers, and put as much energy into blogging (for free) as I would be for my paid work. You’re worth it.

Expect to be seeing more posting frequency here– and probably a good amount of guest posts on other blogs.

Disclaimer: If you have a design project or consulting emergency that you’re willing to throw bundles of money at– I’m sure I wont refuse. Otherwise, just hold off a month. ;)

Google+ Hangout On Air

I posted about this event on Monday, in case you missed it. It will be awesome and afterwards, you’ll be awesomer for attending.

Remembering 9/11

Never-Forget

They say it’s one of those events where you’ll never forget where you were when you heard the news. They are right, whoever they are. Eerily insightful those folks are.

In the video above I talked about where I was when I heard about the 9/11 attacks. I also ask you to pray for those who were directly affected by the events of that day. People who lost loved ones are still living with the tradgedy of this day. Pray for them.

Let me know in the comments below where you were and what you were doing when the news broke! You can leave a comment by clicking here

  1. I was working on a construction site near the Lehigh Valley Airport in Allentown, PA. The sky was clear as can be that day. A normally busy sky turned completely quiet as the news broke.
