My friends over at ChurchMag have put together a list of the top 20 church technology blogs of 2012. Using a sophisticated algorithm and scoring system, they ranked ministry sites from all over the internet. They then posted the 2012 top 20 church technology sites.
These sites cover a pretty broad spectrum of topics including (but not limited to):
- Social Media
- Web Development
- iOS
- Programming
- Design
The biggest surprise for me was that dustn.tv– yes, the site you’re on right now– was ranked at number 5! Woo-hoo! I was honored to have even been considered for the list, let alone come in at number 5!
The author, Jeremy Smith, informed me that the most significant boost in my scoring was my Google+ impact. Well, I guess those experts telling Google+ ghost stories are wrong. There may just be something to that thing after all.
You can read the full post over at ChurchMag to see the full list, and get a little better understanding of how it began. I also recommend checking out some of the other sites who made the top 20– really good stuff there.
Do you follow any of the blogs who made it into the top 20 (other than this one of course)? You can leave a comment by clicking here.

Good job love!!
Thanks gorgeous.
Nope, haven’t heard of any of the others on the list but I’ll be sure to check them out.
Definitely do! There are some real gems on there!
In addition to dustn.tv, I follow churchmarketingsucks.com.
Great site! I don’t visit there as often as I would like, but they do have some great stuff there!
10,000+ followers on Google plus…wow! Congrats Dustin!
Thanks Mike! I caught the vision of the potential Google+ had right from the start, so I went all in.
Congratulations! What’s next– GQ Magazine?
Shhh… That hasn’t been announced yet!
