If Jesus had an all-star team of church leaders, disciple makers, and gospel preachers– this would be the team. Eight titans of the faith coming together for two days of epic teaching!
On October 9-10, 2012 eight of today’s most influential church leaders are coming together for the R12 Resurgence Conference. Two days of equipping Jesus followers to get more done. This group of innovators, influencers, equippers, and world changers are joining forces to make an impact on the ministry world for generations to come.
Here is the speaker line up and what they’re going to be speaking on:
- Rick Warren – Increasing Influence
- Nick Vujicic – Building Endurance
- Craig Groeschel – Creating a Culture of Innovation
- Greg Laurie – Preaching Jesus
- Miles McPherson – Serving Your City
- Mark Driscoll – Making Disciples
- Lecrae – Engaging Culture
- James MacDonald – Increasing Resources
When I first heard about this conference happening, I got really excited– especially since it’s basically in my back yard! Well, it’s about 40 miles south from where I live, but still that’s pretty close! Then something awesome happened– I was granted a Press Pass to attend the conference as a special guest! How cool is that?
I am honored to have been invited to attend as a press member! It’s great that the people involved understand the power of social media enough to invite someone like me– a blogger– to record and report on what God is doing at this conference. I am extremely grateful and will do my best to make the most of it!
As the conference gets closer, I’ll have more on how to stay updated if you can’t make it to the conference. In the meantime, I would encourage you to take a look at the conference page and see if it is something God wants you to be a part of.
If you want to hear from some of the speakers themselves, Mark Driscoll has utilized Google+ Hangouts on Air to record interviews with some of the speakers. Check out their YouTube page to watch the ones they’ve recorded. They’ll be recording the final interview with Lecrae LIVE today at 1:30 PDT on their Google+ page.
Much more to come on this! I can’t wait!

I wish I could go, but California is completely opposite of Florida! Haha… I’ve never even been to California.
This really cool that you got a press pass! I look forward to hearing about it!
That’s understandable that you can’t make it Brandon– luckily I’ll be blogging up a storm while I’m there! I’ll even be attempting to do a LIVE Google+ Hangout during the conference!
Well, you know Florida shouldn’t be too far from Atlanta and the Catalyst conference. (-;
Oh how I wish I could go to Atlanta for the Catalyst conference… :/
Dude, you should do it. I’m sure it’d be a long drive or flight for you but the lineup is well worth it. To top it off, they give away so much free stuff it basically covers your ticket price.
I just heard about this conference, however won’t make it. I live in Oceanside so it would be about 40 min. north:) If I did go the person I would want to see the most is Rick Warren.
So in CA, that’s like 10 miles away then? lol I live in Northridge (San Fernando Valley) which is about 45-60min. North of Irvine. It’s not that far of a drive!
Awesome lineup Dustin! All are powerhouses in their own right.
I’d be most excited to see Craig Groeschel. Followed closely by Rick Warren and Mark Driscoll.
Haha, yea– they had me at “Driscoll”. But I’m stoked to see Rick Warren again. I’m really curious about Lecrae as a speaker. I love his music, but never heard him speak.
This lineup is definitely a power house.
I believe Lecrae did a talk at one of the Catalyst conferences. He’s a great speaker and someone you should enjoy.
Yeah…maybe one day I can make it out to CA? haha
I am about 6 hours from ATL. So, it isn’t that bad…
If I would have gone to my first Catalyst event at your age Brandon, I think my head would have literally exploded from overexposure to awesomeness.
Mark Driscoll…….he speaks “TRUTH”.
Indeed he does!
I’ve heard Miles speak before, but I’d love to hear him again based on the topic he’s covering. Actually, all the speakers look great! How about an R12 in Philly?
