So you’ve got an invite to Google+. You’ve become one of the elite handful of early adopters, testers, and social media addicts by getting into Google+ before it’s publicly released! Congratulations! Now what?
Now you’ve got to learn how to use the darn thing! It’s funny how much fun, yet how incredibly frustrating or annoying it can be sometimes to learn something new. We grow so accustomed to how things work (websites, smart phones, etc) that it can be difficult to transition to something new.
If you’ve been on Facebook for a while, no doubt you’ve grown accustomed to their interface, how the features work, and where the features are. With Google+, things are a little bit different. Luckily, there is a brand new website that is coming to your rescue!

My good friend James Brooks and I have co-founded GooglePlusTutorials.com. We intend to scour the internet to find the most relevant and helpful ways of using Google+ to it’s fullest. From simple, practical uses, to advanced techniques, shortcuts, and workflow we want to help you, the user, get the most out of Google+.
We have a growing FAQ page where you can send us your questions, and we will do our best to either answer them directly or create a blog post that specifically addresses your question. Show some love by visiting the site and reading some articles! And if you want to be REALLY awesome, tweet a link to it or leave a comment (or both)!
Are there any questions you currently have about Google+? You can leave a comment by clicking here.

I guess the main question I have is probably one that no one really knows the answer to yet – and that is what the value of Google+ will be. Do you think it will become a valuable tool for blog promotion and social networking? Will it take some time, do you think?
I think it holds the same value as any of the other major social networks. Specifically for bloggers, the potential promotion combined with the +1 feature could dwarf Facebook’s potential because the +1 will also be incorporated to Googles search results and page rank.
Not only that, but Google+ is better organized, and will (hopefully) integrate seamlessly with all other Google products (ie. Gmail, Analytics, Docs, Reader, etc.).
Does this mean that bloggers like me who have hung in with Google based Blogger have some hope of getting some traffic? LOL.
That’s a definite maybe… A BIG maybe. Blogger/Blogspot has a LOT of work to do.
I think it’s awesome that you have teamed up with another Media Junkie err Guru to bring us some much needed guidance because I stared at the screen clicking around in circles but unfortunately I wasn’t even in the Circles Google designed…lol. Right now for me though I only have 2 people in Circles so it’s not going to be much of a test drive for me until more people I know are on G+ because I am not one to add a lot of people I don’t know to my friend lists except on Twitter and even then I limit it to people I follow for a purpose. Now it does seem like G+ is a mix of Twitter and FB so perhaps this weekend I will have more time to really dig in and get to know it more. With your help I just might learn a little bit
Thanks man for founding the new site – will have to bookmark it
This is what I get from work –

Haha! That’s funny… I wonder why that happens?
I love this, Dustin! Even though I’m not on Google+ yet, I’m going to be reading your site! When that thing opens its doors I’ll be ready!
This is great man! Love the site! Definitely adding it to Google Reader!
Thanks Graham! That is a huge compliment!
Thanks for all of your support Graham…it’s hugely appreciated!
Yeah Graham! What he said!
So how are you taking to Google+ Dustin? So frar I am only getting in and adding a few people to my circles and just trying to comment a little. I am not taking to it well. I think the comfort of Twitter and Facebook are keeping me complacent..lol.
I LOVE google+! I think Google has done an excellent job at innovating some of the more clunky areas of Facebook & Twitter. Though I still love Twitter & Facebook, I have turned my primary focus to Google+ (hence the tutorial site we launched!)
!
this site has so much potential… i freakin’ love it.
Thanks John! We’re trying our best to make it sail! Any advice?
