It’s been one full month now since I released my new blog design into the wild. By the grace of God, I have got nothing but positive feedback! In fact, I’ve had several requests from people to have me build them something similar (if not exactly the same).

My hope is that through reading this you may understand not only what has changed, but why. This is so you can take these same concepts and philosophies and incorporate them into your own blog design.

After writing the last post about Social Media and Blog Design, I decided it was time to update my free social icon set. I’ve been getting a lot of requests for Pinterest and Instagram, so I went ahead and added them. I’ve also made some updates to the StumbleUpon and LinkedIn icons– just added a bit of prettification.

There are 3 aspects to creating a stunning reading experience for your blog that will give your content the presentation it deserves and your readers an experience they will love.

It’s one thing to create great content for your blog, it’s an entirely different thing to create a reading experience that keeps people coming back for more. Building a blog starts with great content, but if your readers are not given an enjoyable reading experience then you’re doing your content and your readers a disservice.
