Learn how to change your blog’s typography in less than 15 minutes, like a boss!

After posting my Essential Guide To Creating A Stunning Reading Experience, it came to my attention that a lot of people out there don’t know how to change the fonts used in their blog design. So as a follow-up, I thought I’d write a tutorial about how to change fonts on your self-hosted WordPress blog. And then I thought, why not take it a step further? Why not do a LIVE tutorial where people can actually watch how it’s done?

How & Where

Thanks to Google+ Hangouts, this type of thing is easier than ever. Using the Hangouts feature, not only can I host a LIVE tutorial (for free), but I can also share my screen so you can see me in action. When the Hangouts On Air feature is activated, I can also broadcast the event to an unlimited number of viewers (as opposed to only 10 participants in a regular Hangout). At the same time, Google+ automatically records the Hangouts On Air session to YouTube when it’s finished.

I thought it was a brilliant idea, and I hope you do too! Using Hangouts On Air I’ll be walking you step-by-step through the process of implementing different fonts into your blog design.

When

The event will take place on September 22, 2012 at 12pm PDT. The tutorial should only take 15 minutes, but I wanted to make sure to allow extra time for questions.

On top of that I’ll be giving 9 VIPs the opportunity to be active participants in the Hangout with me! I’m going to make time for a Q&A session after the tutorial to clarify or troubleshoot with each of them.
